Gil-002-2-smGil Williams is president at Williams & Associates, Inc. He has served as the president of the National Association of Interstate Commerce Practitioners; was honored as Small Business Person of the Year for the Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce in 1984 and the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce 1998; and received Honorary Distinguished Logistics Professional in 2004 from the American Society of Transportation and Logistics. Williams was president of the Transportation Club of Minneapolis St. Paul; member of the school board for Bloomington Public Schools; chairman for the Bloomington Youth Commission; chairman Bloomington Housing and Redevelopment Authority; and a member of the Minnesota Freight Advisory Committee. He attended the University of Minnesota and has been a member since 1994.
Cliff Phibbs, M.D., is the Vice President of the Bloomington Community Foundation Board and has been a member for 16 years. Professionally he has been the Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School and President of Fairview-Oxboro Clinics. He also served as a Bloomington School Board member for 9 years with two years as Chairman. Phibbs also has experience serving on the boards of Washington State University Foundation, American College of Surgeons Foundation, Hillcrest Methodist Church, Bloomington Heart Health Foundation, Bloomington Jaycees, Medical Director-Minnesota Protective Insurance Company, Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, Bloomington Health Advisory Board, Martin Luther Manor Board, and the Minnesota Valley YMCA. Phibbs received his B.S. in Zoology at Washington State University, his M.D. at University of Washington Medical School and his M.S. in Surgery at University of Minnesota. Phibbs was a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.

Paul Mount is a shareholder in Mount & Borresen, Ltd., a Bloomington based CPA firm. He has served on the Buena Vista University Alumni Board and joined the Bloomington Community Foundation in 2003.

Members of the Board

Tim Culver is a former chairman for the Board of Education for Bloomington Public Schools. He has taught in Minneapolis and Richfield and was an admissions officer for area colleges for 15 years. Culver is also a board member for the Association of Metropolitan School Districts Executive Committee. He was a member of the South Hennepin Human Services Council, Juvenile Justice Center and Minnesota Youth Advocates. Culver holds a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College and has lived in Bloomington since 1981. He has been a member since 1994.

Jeff Hatton is the chief operating officer at Premier Banks and holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Thomas.  He also serves on the board for Bridging, Inc. Hatton has been a member since 2004.
